Keeping practice fun!
I’ve had to develop my own system for learning the instrument, because I found traditional lessons too boring and hard to stick with. I’ve developed a system of learning the boring stuff in a really fun way. It’s also a great way to build enough confidence and skill to be able to do an impromptu jam with anyone, anytime! Even without having any experience playing with others.
creativity and theory
Theory can be intimidating. I’ve gotten rid of the need to memorize a bunch of terms and complicated concepts, and instead focused on explaining the practicality behind the math. Instead of cramming a bunch of theory with no understanding behind the purpose, I cut it down to what you need to learn how to express yourself and really get passionate about the instrument. Once the passion is there, the complicated concepts aren’t so difficult anymore.
what do you want to learn?
guitar
I teach all skill levels and ages. Other teachers will focus only on teaching the same things, the same way, just like the book says. I take a different approach. Instead of just teaching the same information you can find from any other teacher, or on the internet, I integrate a collection of game changing tips and tricks I’ve learned over the last 24 years which I haven’t seen anyone else utilizing. The traditional approach is to teach them to play and hope they find their creative spark and style on their own. I go the exact opposite direction. I want to teach my students how to express themselves as soon as possible, because that’s where the passion starts. The theory and technical concepts get tossed in along the way.
singing
Think you can’t sing? You’re wrong! Anyone can sing. Think you have a terrible voice? You just haven’t found it yet! Learn how to find your own unique voice and finally break through the plateau of mediocrity that people often find themselves stuck in.
recording
It doesn’t matter if you plan to write your own songs or record an album. Learning how to record has been, by far, the most dramatic improvement in my guitar playing I have ever made. I learned to record for other reasons, but when I noticed my guitar skills had improved in a few months more than they had in years, I knew I had to integrate it into a brand new and original way of learning the instrument. I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

Songwriting is by far one of the most difficult things for every aspiring musician to learn. Many people just assume you need talent. Writing takes a lot of practice, just like anything else. You may not be inclined, but you have the ability!
